Your business, in your name
The single question that matters when you rent software your company depends on: if this relationship ends, what do you keep? Here is our answer, itemised, before you ask.
Who owns what
This table is the substance of our whole pitch. Lock-in is a business model we have deliberately chosen not to have.
| Asset | Owned by | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Developer account | You | Registered to your company; we are added as a team member |
| Google Play Console | You | Registered to your company; we are added as a user |
| Payment gateway merchant account | You | Funds settle directly to your bank, never through us |
| Maps and SMS API keys | You | Billed to you, revocable by you at any time |
| Rider, driver and trip data | You | Exportable in a standard format on request |
| Your brand and app listings | You | Names, icons and store presence are yours |
| Platform source code | Joldisoft LLC | Licensed to you for as long as you subscribe |
How the platform protects it
Six controls that apply to every operator on Omei, on every plan.
Credentials stay yours
Store accounts, payment gateways, map and messaging keys are registered to your company. We are granted access to configure them, and that access is revocable by you at any time.
Your data is yours
Riders, drivers, trips and transactions belong to your business. You can export the full dataset on request, in a standard format, at any point in the contract or after it.
Encrypted end to end
TLS on every connection and encryption at rest for stored data. Card details are never touched by the platform — payments run through tokenised, PCI-compliant gateways.
Role-based access
Staff accounts are scoped by role, so an operations user cannot change commission and a finance user cannot reassign a trip. Sensitive actions are written to an audit log.
Isolated deployments
Each operator runs against their own database. On Scale, we deploy to dedicated infrastructure in the region you nominate for data-residency reasons.
Backups and recovery
Automated daily backups with point-in-time restore, monitored uptime, and a documented recovery procedure we test rather than merely publish.
If you decide to leave
Tell us, and we export your riders, drivers, trips and transactions in a standard format. Your store listings, gateway accounts and API keys were always in your name, so nothing needs to transfer — we simply come off the access lists. There is no exit fee and no data-ransom clause, because a vendor who needs those is admitting the product cannot hold a customer on its merits.
